About Me

Hi, I’m Mariam Sanou! I’m a senior at the University at Albany, completing my BA in Computer Science with minors in Informatics, Psychology, and Theater. My passion for software engineering sparked during my junior year when I took a software engineering class. I loved collaborating with a team to build web applications using React, JavaScript, and Node.js, while managing versions through Github. During my internship at NYCHA, I enhanced my organizational and technical skills as an Assistant Project Management Operations intern, contributing to the development of FAQs and streamlining processes. My creative side thrives in my roles as an actress in campus plays, an artist, and the founder of a small makeup business, where I designed and launched my own website. What drives me is blending creativity with problem-solving. Whether through professional projects or self-led ones, I’m motivated to build solutions that make a real-world impact while still allowing my creative side to shine. Looking Forward To: - Continuously learning and growing within the software engineering field - Pursuing exciting opportunities that challenge and inspire growth - Building real-life tech solutions - Continuing to merge creativity with problem-solving - Taking on roles in software engineering, UX design, and technology GitHub: https://github.com/mariamsanou Portfolio: Website:https://showoffgorjuss-z.my.canva.site/wobinmariamsanou#page
