About Me
I recently graduated with a Computer Science degree at Cal State Monterey Bay and I am ready to jump into a role in Software Engineering, UX Design, or Web Development. During my studies, I joined the statewide 10-month Computing Talent Initiative tackling Python projects and algorithmic challenges. My internship at Uber involved enhancing the Growth UX team's efficiency. I developed interfaces with React to simplify Uber employee workflows and improved a FAQ chatbot tool, saving users thousands of hours. My work included UI/UX design enhancements and backend integration with Figma, JavaScript, React.js, and GraphQL. In academic team projects, I improved a job search app's UI/UX with React, REST, Spring Boot, and MySQL, conducting JUnit and Selenium tests for operational integrity. I co-created a music and event discovery website using Express.js, HTML, and Node.js to leverage Spotify and Ticketmaster data. I also co-developed two Unity-based games: a Café Worker Simulator, where I focused on UI/UX and gameplay elements integration, and a space escape room game, where I led the design of the layout and on-screen navigation. I enjoy blending UI designs and use cases into functional code, and my creativity in front-end development is influenced by my artistic hobbies, including crocheting and knitting.
