About Me

I've been fascinated by technology for as long as I can remember. I remember being captivated by our first family computer in 3rd grade, spending hours exploring its possibilities. When Pokemon was exploding in popularity, I recall looking at their official website and feeling sad that there wasn't a pokedex app or any other cool tools – even then, I had the urge to create something to improve the experience. "How do they not have that?" I wondered. Now, I'm eager to channel that same creative drive to build innovative and useful software. A few years ago, I finally took the plunge into programming after years of telling myself that I wasn't smart enough. I wrote a Python script that read game files and created GUI popups to remind me of in-game redeemables. That project taught me the power of programming to solve real-world problems, and it ignited my passion for software development. I'm a persistent and passionate student of solving problems using code. I'm always eager to explore new technologies and expand my skillset. My diverse background, from retail and elderly care to management roles and a marketing degree, has equipped me with strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. I'm a dedicated and persistent learner who thrives on challenges and enjoys the process of mastering new skills. I'm confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully, and I'm eager to join a team where I can grow as a software engineer.
