About Me

My name is Abdishakur Mohamed, and I am a cybersecurity student at Metropolitan State University, graduating in December 2024 with a major in Cybersecurity and a minor in Computer Forensics. As the first college graduate in my family, I take pride in the hard work and dedication that have shaped my journey. I have gained hands-on experience through roles like Network Engineer Intern at Johnson Brothers Company and Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Analyst at Metro State. These opportunities allowed me to work on network upgrades, vendor audits, and security strategies while building skills with tools like Palo Alto, Cisco technologies, and Wireshark. I am passionate about making an impact in the cybersecurity field and plan to pursue a master’s degree to deepen my expertise.
