
Summer Intern - Software Engineer
Job description
As a Software Engineer, you will be developing & maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video, light & control systems in Harman’s Professional Solutions SBU. You will collaborate and work closely with Harman personnel to develop and integrate software platforms to deliver successful products. .
‍Your Team
You will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering / R&D.
‍What You Will Do
- Participate in developing, deploying & maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video & control systems.
- Participate in the lifecycle of a software product including Requirement Management, Design, Development, Testing, Integration & Release Management.
- Be part of a process-oriented culture for a team developing software products using agile methodologies.
What You Need
- Pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Experience in developing software applications in C++ and or C#.
What Is Nice To Have
- Experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Angular is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of QT is highly preferred.
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to work in an office in Richardson, TX.
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
- Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Must provide full work availability from May 19, 2025, through August 8, 2025, and be able to work 40 hours per week depending on workload.
