We are looking for a creative, motivated, and dynamic individual to help us build and support industry-leading mobile and web applications for our suite of autonomous outdoor products. TTC solutions leverage the latest technologies in software design, communications, and user engagementmethodologies.Solution owners in this position will have the opportunity to create and deploy sophisticated real-time robotic managementapplications utilizing the latest UI/UX concepts and IoT technologies in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:β―
- Design application UI/UX and other graphical features for a variety of brands and products.
- Code and support mobile robotics applications using the React Native/Expo/Igniteframeworks.
- Apply IoT technologiesfor real-time remote controlof autonomous products and features.
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and product leadership on all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:β―
- Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent degree required.
- Demonstrated experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development language.
- Two or more years of React Native development experience.
- Experience with behavior driven development (BDD) principles, unit,and integration testing.
- Experience with one or more agile software development processes (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
SW Engineer I 0-2 years experience
SW Engineer II-2-4 years experience
SW Engineer III-4-6 years experience
SW Engineer IV-7+ years experience
Bonus:
- Experience with Google Maps, Protobuf, and/or Mapbox technologiesis a plus.
- Experience with Expo framework and/or Ignite project boilerplate.
- Experience with Swift and Kotlin native mobile development tools and technologies.
- Understanding ofMQTT pub/sub (reg/call) communication patterns and methodologies.
- Understanding of geographic systems and working with 3D geometry solutions.
- NO scheduled travel, no physical demands!

Competitive Salary β The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between β$71700β - β$145000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
