Salary Range:$95,000.00 To $151,000.00 Annually

What are the primary responsibilities in the Software Engineer position?

  • Familiar with Agile software development in C++/Python using GitLab/Atlassian tools.
  • Collaborates within an Agile software development team.
  • Works closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and operational performance requirements.
  • Assists in creating test procedures, embedded software/firmware, and related documentation.
  • Communicates internally and externally to influence changes in practices, processes, and approaches.
  • Contributes to improvements in processes, systems, or products.
  • Participates in all phases of the product development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
  • Applies engineering, software, and mathematical analysis principles in software development.
  • Provides input for new products and processes, ensuring operational plans have measurable business or functional impact.
  • Willingness to support RRC products on-site at customer locations (Chantilly/Dulles/Sterling area) as needed, though the primary location is in the RRC Chantilly office.

What required background will make you successful?

  • TS/SCI security clearance w/ Full Scope Poly
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Preferred skills:

  • Digital Signal Processing and geolocation knowledge.
  • Web and database development (PostgreSQL).
  • X-MIDAS experience.

This position is located at our Chantilly, VA office.
