About the role:

As an entry level Procurement Mechanical Engineer, you will provide engineering solutions to obsolescence challenges associated with commercial nuclear power plant systems and components.

You will report to the Manager of Procurement Engineering for BOP Mechanical & Chemical Process Engineering. You will work hybrid based in Roch Hill, SC @45-minutes from Charlotte, NC. No relocation provided. We can consider candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Create, and submit engineering documentation
  • Item Equivalency Evaluations
  • Commercial Grade Dedication Packages
  • Material Master Classifications
  • Resolve Procurement Engineering Hold
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team driving to improve group capability on Nuclear Power Plant Technology
• Contribute to multiple customer teams outside of immediate area
• Meet project delivery deadlines within project constraints

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent certification and experience
• Fundamental engineering principles
• Develop and deliver technical presentations for issues like project status, problem resolution and engineering recommendations
