Are you looking for a great opportunity in Boulder, Colorado? We have a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer who is eager to grow with our company here at Emerson. In this role you will work with other manufacturing Engineers and operations managers to plan, develop, and support manufacturing processes. Maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment’s, workflow, assembly methods, systems to develop and implement improvement plans. Design toolings and fixtures required for manufacturing of new and existing products to achieve manufacturing goals and product specifications. Â
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Update and maintain work instructions.
- Participate in departmental project teams to improve processes and efficiency.
- Assist other manufacturing engineers in designing and implementing tools and fixtures. Must be hands on.
- Execute business systems setups such as items and routings, ECO and ECR.
- Respond to triage production problems for product lines.
- Identify improvements opportunities for performance and efficiency.
- Effectively present information to peers and project teams.
- Travel (10%) required.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BS in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, ABET accredited engineering degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of project managing
- Demonstrated knowledge of scientific problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to work and make decision independently and to lead completion of assigned task
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engineering skills, data collection and computer skills, including CREO as well as Microsoft office
- Knowledge of 5S+1, lean manufacturing practices
- Machining experiences, tooling, and CAD/CAM (Mastercam) in manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
