Program Summary

KBR’s Missiles, Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army’s Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Mission-Capable Embedded Software for PEO Aviation clients leveraging open standards and Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) standard.
  • Assist the team in developing software to integrate avionics, flight simulation and simulators, and flight planning tools
  • Document requirements and development documentation
  • Create test cases, scenarios and exercise code base to verify and validate Software Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • In process of receiving Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering from an accredited university
  • 0-3 years of experience in an engineering field
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (requiring US citizenship)
  • Experience with C++, C#, Java, Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with writing/maintaining software code in a collaborative environment.
  • GitHub or similar configuration management
