Job Title: Junior Software Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in software development who is eager to grow their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Below are the primary job duties and responsibilities. Â This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external engineers to develop, test, and maintain software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Assist in the design and implementation of new features. UI/UX design and lead
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in software development (internships, projects, or previous employment)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Â (JIRA, Confluence and Trello)
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies/Platforms. (Linux, AWS, Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React.js, Angular, Django)
- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Â MongoDB)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins)
