
Junior ServiceNow Developer
Job description
CGI Federal is actively seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior ServiceNow Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll assist with development, design, and implementation of an ITSM implementation on the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with senior developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow applications and support services that meet client needs.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Application Development: Assist in the development and customization of ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, and web services. Participate in source code management and UI design.
Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support for existing ServiceNow ITSM, including troubleshooting and resolving application issues. Assist in maintaining the overall health and performance of the platform.
Process Automation: Contribute to automating business processes and workflows, using ServiceNow Orchestration and Web Services.
Configuration and Integration: Help in configuring ServiceNow applications and integrating them with other systems to enhance functionality and data exchange.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed configurations and processes, ensuring clarity and completeness for future reference.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, XML, and SQL.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience with ServiceNow development, including application design and workflow creation
Proficient in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and XML, with a strong understanding of web services and ServiceNow APIs
Familiarity with ITIL framework and Agile methodologies, enhancing process automation and integration capabilities.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification
Demonstrated ability to execute integrations and process automations using ServiceNow Orchestration
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $121,900.00.
