Job description

We are seeking an entry-level or experienced Field Engineer to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving on-site rather than sitting behind a desk. The Field Engineer will perform testing, troubleshooting, and design work on electrical power delivery systems, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and technical excellence.

Please note: This position requires over 50% travel, primarily within the southeastern United State

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform acceptance testing and commissioning on a broad range of electrical power delivery equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in electrical systems and recommend solutions.
  • Design and draft control and protection system upgrades.
  • Create and update electrical drawings for new systems and retrofit projects.
  • Manage workload effectively across multiple projects.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate customer reports.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
