Responsibilities include:
- assisting the design team with preparation of roadway plans
- performing design calculations and geometrics
- preparing design reports
- performing site visits on roadway projects
- assisting with quantity take-offs and cost estimates
A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Basic Engineering CAD drafting Knowledge Using Auto-Cad or MicroStation
- Analytical and Quantitative Skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; transportation coursework
The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:
- EIT or ability to pass FE exam within six month of hire date
- transportation related coursework
- previous internship in civil or transportation engineering
- reading engineering plans, contours and drafting.
- AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software programs
