We are seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Community Development department in Springfield, MA and work as a member of a team on projects including land development; urban infill and redevelopment, municipal projects, mixed-use commercial/residential, educational facilities, permitting, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detailed site design (layout, grading, utilities, erosion & sediment controls)
  • Assist in the preparation of site plans and details
  • Design stormwater management systems
  • Conduct field work
  • Oversee construction activities
  • Assist in report and permit writing activities
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Typically requires 0-2 years' relevant experience; internship experience will be considered in lieu of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with construction oversight is a plus!
  • EIT registration preferred
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD and Microstation; HydroCAD experience a plus!
