
Associate Software Engineer

What you’d be doing:
- Develop a broad understanding of SageSure applications while working on a variety of cross-functional teams. Â
- Take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity, utilizing our software development standards, from design through to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with software engineers, quality engineers, product managers, and other engineering teams to build feature-rich user experiences.
- Improve code quality through test coverage, peer programming, and code reviews utilizing modern patterns and frameworks with the support of your team and mentor. Â
- Assist in the design and development of software solutions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define software requirements.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Applicants should either possess or be on track to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field by June 2025. Code Camp students are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose or front-end programming languages, such as Java, React, Go, or JavaScript. Â
- Experience with software design, data structures, and algorithms.
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Professional, tutoring, certifications, intern, or coding lab experience. Â
