Junior Test Engineer

Primary responsibilities include supporting test engineers in test planning, conducting test execution methodology, data collection/reduction/analysis, and technical report writing.  Technical areas applicable include non-intrusive inspection and associated scientific disciplines, physical security applications, command and control integration, human factors, operations research, statistics, and engineering. Additional responsibilities will include supporting engineering design reviews, and engaging representatives of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working directly with vendors and stakeholders in enhancing technologies and capabilities in developmental lifecycle support.  Candidate should possess an understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Work is performed both in the field and at various laboratories. The candidate is required to interact directly with the client on a regular basis and should have strong oral and written communication skills. Additionally, candidate should also have excellent computer skills including expertise in the use of applicable Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Key Qualifications

• The candidate must have at least a BS in engineering or physics from an accredited college or university.
• The candidate must be able to travel, be a self-starter, and a team player.  Travel is expected to be up to 25%.
• Sole US Citizenship with the eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance and to obtain TSA Security Suitability.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• Possess TSA Security Suitability.
• Experience in the test and evaluation of Transportation Security Equipment (TSA).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015
