Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Designing building mechanical systems (HVAC) under the guidance of experienced mechanical engineers
- Preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction
- Developing 3D models of the building systems using Revit
- Assisting with load calculations, system sizing, and mechanical equipment selection
- Attending client meetings.
- Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Working in an engineering, architecture, or construction firm.
- Coursework in REVIT.
- Coursework in building mechanical systems such as HVAC.
- International Mechanical Code requirements, ASHRAE standards, and building construction materials.
The ideal candidate will also obtain an EIT within six months of hire.
